The Type 97 Chi-Ha was a medium tank used by Japan during World War II. Introduced in 1938, it had a 57mm gun, later upgraded to a 47mm gun. Despite being Japan's most produced tank, it was outmatched by Allied tanks due to its light armor and firepower.
