T30 Heavy Tank miniature, representing the American heavy tank developed in the immediate post–World War II period as part of the T29 series. Designed to deliver overwhelming firepower, the T30 was armed with a massive 155 mm gun mounted in a large turret, making it one of the most heavily armed tanks of its time.
Built on a similar chassis to the T29, the T30 featured thick armor and a robust suspension system to support its heavy weight. Its large-caliber gun was intended for engaging fortified positions and heavy enemy armor.
Although it remained an experimental vehicle and did not enter mass production, the T30 played an important role in the development and testing of heavy tank concepts during the early Cold War.
