Sd.Kfz. 251/22 Ausf. D miniature, representing the German tank destroyer variant of the armored half-track used during the final stages of World War II. Based on the Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D chassis, this version was equipped with the powerful 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, giving mechanized units a highly mobile anti-armor capability.
Designed to engage enemy tanks and fortified positions, the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 combined the mobility of the half-track with the firepower of one of Germany’s most effective anti-tank guns. Despite its relatively light armor, it provided valuable fire support and tank-hunting capability during the later years of the war.
Note: The 7.5 cm PaK 40 gun is provided as a separate piece and requires gluing to complete the model.
The Ausf. D featured a simplified hull design with fewer armor plates, improving production efficiency while maintaining effective protection. Perfect for WWII dioramas, anti-tank units, or historical vehicle collections in multiple scales.
