Sd.Kfz. 251/21 Ausf. D miniature, representing the German anti-aircraft variant of the armored half-track used during World War II. Based on the Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D chassis, this version was equipped with a triple-mounted 15 mm MG 151 aircraft cannon installation, providing powerful mobile air defense for armored and mechanized formations.
Designed to engage low-flying aircraft, the Sd.Kfz. 251/21 was also highly effective against infantry and lightly armored targets due to its high rate of fire. The combination of mobility, protection, and concentrated firepower made it a valuable support vehicle during the later stages of the war.
Note: The triple-mounted MG 151 gun assembly is provided as a separate piece and requires gluing to complete the model.
The Ausf. D featured a simplified hull design with fewer armor plates, improving production efficiency while maintaining effective protection. Perfect for WWII dioramas, air defense scenes, or historical vehicle collections in multiple scales.
