The Char B1 Bis was a French heavy tank used during World War II, renowned for its strong armor and powerful armament. It featured a 47mm gun in a turret and a 75mm howitzer mounted in the hull, making it formidable in direct combat. Despite its strengths, the tank was slow, had limited range, and required a large crew to operate effectively. It played a significant role during the Battle of France in 1940, where it proved tough to destroy but was ultimately outmaneuvered by German tactics.
