Nicknamed "Stalin’s Organ" by German troops because of its terrifying sound when firing, the BM-13 Katyusha could unleash a devastating barrage of rockets in seconds, providing massive area saturation and breaking enemy formations. Typically mounted on trucks such as the ZIS-6, it combined mobility with overwhelming firepower, making it one of the most iconic Soviet weapons of the war.
