FIAT 611 Armored Car miniature, representing the Italian six-wheeled armored vehicle developed during the early 1930s. Built on the FIAT 611C truck chassis, it was designed for reconnaissance, patrol, security, and colonial operations.
The FIAT 611 featured armored protection, a three-axle layout, and dual driving positions that allowed the vehicle to reverse direction without turning around. Different versions were armed with machine guns or a 37 mm cannon.
Used by Italian forces in East Africa, including during the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and the early years of World War II, the FIAT 611 is perfect for Italian colonial campaign dioramas, early-WWII wargaming forces, reconnaissance scenes, or historical armored vehicle collections in multiple scales.
