The StuG III was a German World War II assault gun and tank destroyer, built on the Panzer III chassis. Initially intended for infantry support, it became a successful tank destroyer due to its low profile and powerful 75 mm gun. It was one of Germany's most-produced armored vehicles during the war.

Models look great and arrived in a timely fashion!
The StuG in HO scale is a great piece. German gray base coat spray with some dry-brush metallic paints for effect. Love the gritty colors and low profile aesthetic!
Extremely fun to build. Once assembled, the model is very sturdy and ready for battle. Here is my StuG with a paint job.
The Sturmgeschutz III was the most numerous German AFV of WW2, a ubiquitous sight on the battlefields of Europe, North Africa, and the Balkans. This is an excellent printed rendering of this handy tank destroyer at an affordable price. The kit does *not* include the schurzen side skirt armor plates shown in the photos accompanying this review (mine were leftovers from my spare parts box), however schurzen are easily cut from laminated cardstock or sheet plastic. The kit does include three different gun barrels however.
Overall an excellent value for the money, and a quick and easy way to give your soldats some necessary supporting fire. Highly recommended.
