Semovente L40 da 47/32 miniature, representing the Italian self-propelled gun developed during World War II on the L6/40 light tank chassis. Armed with a 47 mm anti-tank gun mounted in a low-profile casemate, it was designed to provide mobile anti-armor support for Italian armored and infantry units. The vehicle combined compact size and mobility with improved firepower compared to earlier light vehicles. It saw service mainly in North Africa and on the Eastern Front with Italian forces, and later with German units after Italy’s armistice in 1943.
