Nagmashot miniature, representing the Israeli heavy armored personnel carrier developed from the Centurion/Sho’t tank chassis during the 1980s. Designed to provide infantry and combat engineers with greater protection than conventional APCs, the Nagmashot used the heavily armored Centurion hull with the turret removed and the interior adapted for troop transport. Its strong armor and cross-country mobility made it an important step in the development of later Israeli heavy APCs such as the Nagmachon.
