M4A3E8 Sherman (muzzle) miniature, representing the late-war American “Easy Eight” Sherman fitted with the distinctive muzzle brake on its 76 mm main gun. Built on the M4A3 Sherman platform, this version featured the Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension (HVSS), giving it improved ride quality, mobility, and stability.
The muzzle brake helped reduce recoil and gave the gun a recognizable late-war appearance, while the 76 mm gun provided stronger anti-armor performance compared to earlier Sherman variants. Combined with wider tracks and the improved HVSS suspension, the M4A3E8 became one of the most advanced Sherman versions used by U.S. armored forces.
