The Fokker E.III was a German monoplane fighter used during World War I, introduced in 1915. It became famous for its synchronized machine gun that could fire through the propeller arc, giving German pilots a major advantage during the period known as the “Fokker Scourge.” Light and maneuverable, the E.III helped establish early air superiority before being outclassed by newer Allied fighters.
