TheChevrolet 1533 30 CWT (Breda 20mm) is a modified version of the standard British-pattern desert truck, adapted for combat roles by Free French forces in North Africa. Equipped with the Italian 20mm Breda autocannon, this vehicle was commonly used in a reconnaissance or support role. The lightweight truck offered excellent mobility across desert terrain, and the addition of the Breda gun provided effective anti-air and anti-light vehicle firepower. Its rugged chassis and adaptability made it a favorite among units in the harsh conditions of the Western Desert campaign.
