The Mk VII Tetrarch (Little John) miniature represents a British modification of the Tetrarch light tank, fitted with the "Little John" gun converter. This conversion aimed to enhance the tank's anti-tank capabilities by increasing the muzzle velocity of its 2-pounder gun, allowing it to engage more heavily armored targets. The modification involved a larger, longer barrel and was used during the early stages of the war, though it was ultimately phased out in favor of more advanced designs. The Little John variant was a rare but significant step in improving the Tetrarch's effectiveness in combat.
