Hello everyone,
We wanted to share a personal update from Miniature Tanks Company. Our firstborn baby is due on July 30, and time is definitely ticking.
We are still working hard and fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. Missus MTCo has been doing everything she can while pregnant, but now that we are in the final weeks of the third trimester, things have become harder and slower for her. We are doing our best to keep everything moving before the new heir to the MTCo HQ arrives. The little tank commander is almost here, and we suspect he is already placing an order for a 1:5 scale Sherman tank.
We also want to say a sincere thank you for all the orders, support, messages, and patience. Every order really matters to us. Miniature Tanks Company is a small family business, and your support helps us keep going, pay the bills, and put food on the table while we prepare for this huge new chapter in our lives.
Because of the timing and the amount of work we are trying to finish before the baby arrives, we will not be able to offer any sales during these last weeks of the pregnancy. Our main focus right now is fulfilling current orders as fast as we can and making sure everything is handled properly before we step away for a little while.
As we get closer to the due date, we will begin closing our shops temporarily for maternity and paternity leave. We expect to start with eBay and Etsy, and then eventually close the Miniature Tanks Company website for a short period as well.
I will return to work after paternity leave, of course, and Missus MTCo will slowly figure out how to phase back into work while caring for the baby. We do not want to rush that process. Family comes first, and we are going to take it one step at a time.
